Mathematical intersection issue

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows the reason why there isn't any "Mathematical curve with curve intersection" option. My question is related to the need of making intersections between line segments defined by 2 points, and therefore not to be understood as "infinite lines" (which would give me more points than the ones I need).
