<p>If I understand correctly, you want to pull the mesh surface onto curve b in your image.</p>
<p>Anchoring points as in your definition will only affect the mesh if those points are also vertices of the mesh. Points which lie somewhere on the faces of the mesh will have no effect.</p>
<p>I think maybe what you meant to do was to find the mesh vertices closest to the curve.</p>
