Hi,

I sent you an email regarding the license few days ago but haven't received anything yet. Can you please check if you have received it? Thanks, I am trying to use the geometrygym in my uni project, so I kinda need it soon. Thanks in advance. Cheers

I did reply.  Can you also check if spam filter might have caught it?

Hi,

I'm having trouble installing BullAnt, ggRhinoIFC, Rhino/GH-Tekla and Rhino/GH-Robot. After the installation process they fail to load in Rhino/GH. I'm using Rhino 4 and it seems that that might be the problem. When I try to drag the rhp-files to Rhino it says:

"Unable to load ggRhinoRobot.rhp plug-in: Rhino version not specified. Drag and drop unable to load plug-in C:\Program Files (x86)\Geometry Gym\Rhino3d\ggRhinoRobot.rhp"

Are there versions of these plugins still available for Rhino 4 and where could I find them?

Hi Tuulikki,

Sorry for the problems.  All my plugins are still compatible with Rhino v4 (where possible) and I intend to keep making builds for at least this calendar year.

Which Robot plugin are you using?  The Robot 2013 API uses dotnet 4.0 so this can only be run in Rhino v5 (also the connectors for later versions of Tekla).  Which service release of Rhino v4 do you have?  You probably need the latest.  And also please confirm version of grasshopper you are running.

Cheers,

Jon

Hi Jon. I downloaded the GeoGymBIM toolbar but it is aksing for a license. How does it work? Should I just send you the prepared e-mail it generates?

THX

Yes, procedure is also outlined at http://www.geometrygym.com/installing

Hi Jon,

Trying to update BullAnt and getting: "The older version of BullAnt cannot be removed"

Running:

Win 7 Ultimate SP1

Rhino 5 SR6 64-bit

GH 0.9.0064

GG ggRhinoIFC v1.0.26 GH0.9.0014 (updated today)

I tried updating BullAnt first and got the same error.

After updating GG my BullAnt tab in Rhino disappeared so I thought it uninstalled but I still get the error.

Any tips?

Thanks

I haven't seen that message.  Is rhino application open when you run the .msi?

If it reports an installer version number that you need, let me know.

I'll advise further based on your reply, sorry for the problems.

Cheers,

Jon

I've tried with Rhino open and closed

Disabled all of my security: firewall, antivirus, sandbox/hips

Install doesn't prompt for needed version just what is in the attached pic

after that another window says that the install ended prematurely

Also tried:

right-clicking BullAnt v1.0.12 GH0.9.0014.msi and selecting Repair but get:

"This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."

right-click and Uninstall doesn't find an installed instance.

In the past I had downloaded 3 other msi files v1.0.03, v1.0.05, and v1.0.08

tried to right-click, Uninstall those also but they also were not found.

Thanks again Jon
