ah It works perfectly thanks... I had written "Benutzer" instead of "user" because I have a german version of windows. the path works for windows explorer but not for grasshopper.. I have just found out. it works really well now. Definitely is going to need a new hard drive now.

Are you certain that the save paths you're setting up are in valid directories? it will create a new file for you (or override one that doesn't exist) but the directory has to exist in advance. Also note that you need to have unique save file paths for each of your viewport names. If all that's in order then I'm not sure what the issue is - feel free to upload your version of the file if you'd like me to take a look.

Thank you Mr.Heumann, I seem to be getting "generic error in GDI+. (line 0)"

so I looked into what that is, and I am not sure what it is about but looks like it has to do with loading bitmap files that are generated in the process .. and trying to save other images to the same image files which are lock? (an idea from this link…

or maybe the error has to do with my screen resolution which is set to 1920x1080, I am not certain.

But it seems like a similar error has been reported here as well - at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for sharing and I will look into it to see if I can solve it.
try the attached tag:www.grasshopper3d.com,2014-11-05:2985220:Comment:11626872014-11-05T21:53:46.567ZAndrew Heumannhttps://www.grasshopper3d.com/profile/AndrewHeumann
