Grasshopper crashes on startup

Since about a month, Grasshopper has been frequently crashing on startup - about 2/3rds of the time it gets stuck at a very random place in the loading screen.

Sometimes it's while loading Goat, sometimes it's while loading Millipede, sometimes it's while loading MeshEdit, and sometimes it reaches 100% and still gets stuck. It doesn't seem to be a processor or memory issue - it's at 0% CPU and about 500MB memory usage. I've tried removing all components and user objects, and all Rhino plugins, but nothing seems to help. 

Any idea what this could be? Any log that I can check to investigate?

(Running latest versions of Rhino & Grasshopper btw)
