algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Facade with variable openings.. help!

Hi guys

New to grasshopper, I have to create a facade detail with variable openings just like the video shown below. However, the quality of the video is poor and he doesnt explain the expression and following his algorhytm i dont even seem to be able to get the curve to work! Has anyone seen any tutorials online that would get a similar effect?

You can model something similar with this cluster

if you connect a graph mapper to the output of Data in picture below and then connect it to Rot you can easily apply any mapping rotation to your strips. Playing with the min and max rotation will make it better.
