expanded metal frit w/ attractor point

Hello All,

I'm relatively new to grasshopper, and am trying to create an expanded metal frit pattern with curve lengths that vary depending on the placement of an attractor point.  I'm including my attempt here - if anyone has any suggestions about how to improve, it would be greatly appreciated.
