algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I really like Grasshopper but I'm appalled by the lack of documentation. The "Help" on each widget tells me almost nothing. If instead it looked more like a Unix "man" page which is still sparse, but showing me inputs, outputs, and a "SEE ALSO" section, I could see what functions would be likely inputs and outputs. That would be immensely helpful.
I typed Deform into Grasshopper Discussions and the examples came up from 2011 when Grasshopper seemed to be very different.
Since the chronic problem with Grasshopper is lack of examples I decided to provide one after doing my own trial and errors. It's based on an out of date example I saw somewhere.
In it I take a plane, subdivide it, pick a point in the middle using a list, offset that point, and pump everything back into Deform to produce a deformed surface.
Granted, there are other example of this out there, but none seem to use the current version of Grasshopper.
