Bug in shatter curve component (Null reference exception)

Hi David,

I've sporadically encountered this phenomenon of shatter curve (occurs in die-hard with a vengeance style: cancelling all output halfway). At this moment the input is somewhat non-sensical, and the internalized data also seems to differ a bit from my original data, but still the bug seems to be reproducable.

While it's probably the case that I've made a mess, I don't think the Bruce Willis-like behaviour should be the example for all the other good components out there.
