biothingFlowerPower

Hello,

Could you help me open biothingFlowerPower script files (http://www.biothing.org/wiki/doku.php?id=code):

kEMS.dll

kFlowerPower.dll

kFlowerPower2.dll

kGeom3d.dll

I tried to put them into rhino, rhino plugins, grasshopper directories but I cannot run it.

Do you have any idea how to solve it?

Dynamic Link Libraries?? not the right place to ask in the first place<I believe the codes there are rhinoscripts. There should be a rhinoscript or a pythonscript or even a VB.Net scripted component following these .dlls...

Hi Tom,

these are all dlls. I'm not really sure what or who is supposed to load them. If they were Grasshopper Component assemblies they would have *.gha extensions, if they were Rhino plugins they should have *.rhp extensions.

If these files contain functions/classes that you want to use from within a VB/C# script component then you'll need to create a reference ("Manage Assemblies" item in the script component menu) to them.

Hi Tom,

I think you are supposed to extract them to a folder of your choice, then run the _PluginManager command, choose "All compatible files", then kFlowerPower.dll or the number 2 one. I get the command to load, but did not manage to see what they do. These are Rhino commands.

Please let me/us know how this develops...
