<p>It uses a matrix transformation method to determine the nodal forces from beam loads and cross section forces at arbitrary positions along the axis. For details see e.g. 'Rubin H., Schneider, K.-J.: Baustatik Theorie I. und II. Ordnung, Werner-Verlag, Düsseldorf, ISBN 3-8041-3084-4'. The book is however in German language.
