Architecture: Surface box is not bounded by the twisted shape of base surfaces

Hi,

I have created a wavy brick pattern on a flat surface controlled by an attractor point. I am trying to morph a geometry on to the sub-surfaces formed. I tried achieving this by:

  1. creating a surface box and then a morph box
  2. by surface morph

Both these methods yielded the same results where the surface boxes did not follow the twisted shape of the sub-surfaces of the brick pattern.

I dont know where I am going wrong! its probably not reading the domains of the sub-surfaces right.

Surface morph should work if the UV lines of your surfaces are actually curved - how are you generating the subsurfaces? if you're splitting or trimming you're not actually affecting the surface UV, so surface morph won't help. If you extract the two curved edges of each of the shown surfaces, and loft between them to create new UV-complete, untrimmed surfaces, the surface morph approach should work.
