SUMMARY:Rhino for Architecture Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Rhinoceros 3d and Architectural Workflows\n\nThe workshop 
 will showcase the different uses of Rhino along the process of archite
 ctural production, from conceptual development through construction do
 cumentation. Starting with an overview of Rhino as an all‐around too
 l for conceptualizing and developing architectural models, the class w
 ill then illustrate the potential of the software for geometry control
 , rationalization and the coordination of information across the desig
 n team. Further options for documentation production, visualization, i
 nteroperability with other software and BIM compliant workflows will b
 e demonstrated. Each subject will be explained through the step‐by s
 tep development of examples and built case studies with detailed analy
 sis of key commands and critical workflows.   Vincent Nowak (Flow Arch
 itecture) and Annarita Papeschi (Zaha Hadid Architects) will share the
 ir detailed knowledge from their direct experience working on large co
 mplex projects at Zaha Hadid Architects as well as the intracacies of 
 integration on smaller projects as Flow Architecture. Together they wi
 ll demonstrate, through actual Case Studies, how Rhinoceros 3d was use
 d in the design of various building parts and then ultimately integrat
 ed with other software packages to smoothly move between design and co
 nstruction in a rational and efficient manner.   The workshop has a li
