DESCRIPTION:Overview: In This workshop we will focus on how to integra
 te Daylighting & thermal Analysis into parametric design workflow. Thr
 ough this workshop we will explore new façade design opportunities, w
 here the resulting proposal could achieve better performance in compar
 ison with the convention techniques of passive façades, stepping away
  from linear (trial & error process) to new optimization techniques.\n
 Workshop Aim: The objective of this workshop is to provide participant
 s with an understanding of how to use parametric modeling tool along w
 ith validated environmental analysis tool (Grasshopper and Diva) toget
 her to achieve the optimum sustainable design, and publish their resul
 ts in scientific journals and conferences.\nWorkshop outcomes: Teach t
 he participants how to:- +Model a parametric room which has multiple p
 arameters which can be optimized. +Create a range of responsive façad
 e techniques to adopt each design objective. +Conduct daylight and the
 rmal simulation using DIVA which communicates with Radiance & EnergyPl
 us. +Correctly setup the simulation setting in order to perform a vali
 dated simulation results which can be published in scientific journals
 . +Organize and analyze the simulation results based on each optimizat
 ion method that were used. +Identify the best possible set of solution
 s based on the balance between thermal and daylighting performance. +E
 xplore different techniques to enhance the daylighting performance.\n+
