DESCRIPTION:Lead by plugin developer and structural engineer Clemens P
 reisinger, along with Zeynep Aksoz & Matthew Tam from the expert Karam
 ba3d team, this three day workshop will focus on methods of setting up
  structural systems in the parametric environment of Grasshopper. Part
 icipants will be guided through the basics of analysing and interpreti
 ng structural models, to optimisation processes and how to integrate K
 aramba3d into C# scripts.\nThis workshop is aimed towards beginner to 
 intermediate users of Karamba however advanced users are also encourag
 ed to apply. It is open to both professional and academic users.\n\n\n
 Course Fee:\nProfessional EUR 750 (+VAT)\n\n \nEducational EUR 375 (+
 VAT)\n\n\n\n\nCourse Outline\n\nIntroduction & Presentation of project
  examples\nOptimization of cross sections of line based and surface ba
 sed elements\nGeometric Optimization\nTopological Optimization\nStruct
 ural Performance Informed Form Finding\nUnderstanding analysis algorit
 hms embedded in Karamba and visualising results\nComplex Workflow proc
 esses in Rhino3d, Grasshopper3d and Karamba3d\n\n\nPlaces are limited 
 to a maximum of 10 participants with limited educational places. A min
 imum of 4 places are required for the workshop to take place.\nThe wor
 kshop will be cancelled should this quota not be filled by May 31st.\n
 The workshop will be taught in English. Basic Rhino and Grasshopper kn
 owledge is recommended. No knowledge of Karamba is needed.\nParticipan
 ts should bring their own laptops with either Rhino5/Rhino6 and Grassh
 opper3d installed. A 90 day trial version of Rhino can be downloaded f
 rom Rhino3d.\nKaramba ½ year licenses for non-commercial use will be
