DESCRIPTION:The workshop can be understood as an introduction to conte
 mporary designing tools. We will introduce computational principles an
 d the today’s shift from the computer as an representational tool to
  an organizational principle for architecture. We will utilize the sof
 tware platform Rhinoceros (Level 1) and Grasshopper (Basics) for our i
 ssues. In this class participants will learn how to create and edit ac
 curate free form 3D nurbs models and how to create a parametric defini
 tion. This fast moving class covers most of the Rhino’s functionalit
 y, including the most advanced surfacing commands. In addition, this w
 orkshop will give students an understanding of Grasshopper and paramet
 ric design. It will allow them to build on this understanding into mor
 e advanced projects of their own. \nThis workshop is Free & Open for
  all students in architecture who have completed a minimum 2 years of
