DESCRIPTION:The workshop on Applied Parametric Design serves as an int
 roduction and immersion into the world of associative design with McNe
 el’s Rhinoceros and Grasshopper software. Rhinoceros is an advanced 
 Nurbs modeller. Grasshopper is an associative modelling plugin for Rhi
 noceros that allows us to parametrically define the logics of our mode
 l in order to explore variations and optimized solutions. These two to
 ols are a powerful combination for any architect, designer, engineer, 
 professional or student who is interested in exploring how parametric 
 design can benefit their workflow.This workshop is part of BADRx Compu
 tationalWorkshops Series.\nPREREQUISITES:Workshop participants should 
 have a familiarity with CAD software, 2D drafting, and 3D modelling.\n
 SOFTWARE:Rhinoceros 5.0 and Grasshopper (links to trial versions of th
 e software will be made available to the workshop participants). Parti
 cipants are asked to install the software prior to attending the works
