 \nAA Istanbul Visiting School, in collaboration with Istanbul Bilgi Un
 iversity, is a unique learning and making experience. The programme co
 ntinues to build on its expertise on generative design methodologies a
 nd large-scale prototyping techniques from previous years. AA Istanbul
  Visiting School will investigate the inherent associations between fo
 rm, material, and structure through the rigorous implementation of inn
 ovative design and fabrication techniques. Computational methods for d
 esign, analysis, and fabrication will be coupled with physical experim
 entation, fostering ‘learning-by-experimentation’ in an active col
 laborative studio environment. Throughout the design and fabrication p
 rocesses, the associations between various computational platforms wil
 l establish correlations between form-finding, material computation, a
 nd structural performance. The key objective of AA Istanbul Visiting S
 chool will comprise the design and fabrication of a one-to-one scale p
 rototype realized by the use of robotic fabrication techniques.\n\n\n\

 : \n\n The workshop is open to architecture and design students and 
 professionals worldwide.\n\n\nStandard Applications:\n\nThe AA Istanbu
 l Visiting School requires a fee of £695 per participant, which inclu
 des a £60 Visiting Membership fee. \n\nTurkish Students Only:\n\nThe
  AA Visiting School requires a fee of 3,000 TRY per participant, which
  includes a £60 Visiting membership fee. Please contact the VS Office
  for instructions on registering onto the course and paying online and
 /or by bank transfer.\n\nThe deadline for applications is 27 May 2019
