Great work!  I have the headset for about year now but haven't had time to explore it.  This is inspirational.  When I first bought the headset, I wanted to hook it up to a robotic arm and make it do simple gesture.  However, with the advent of Kinect, I think there are new possibilities in combining the two.  Kinect moves robot.  Emotive activates spray gun.  Still saving up for that robot :)

I wonder what happens when suddenly angered? What happens when many peoples mixed emotions are involved? This is really exciting stuff.

Very Cool.  I saw the Emotiv headset about a year ago and ever since I've been really interested in hooking it into Grasshopper (it looks really interesting).  I'm curious as to what type of data is output from the headset (I remember it output a .csv file, but how is it sent?) What other types of data does it output? Could you bypass the whole processing part and stream the EEG readout directly into GH perhaps through UDP or OSC (seems like it would be a bit faster).  Just curious what the duty cycle is on the headset and what type of frame-rate you could expect.  Very cool work.  Nice research.
