Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!

I'm trying to create a free found form for an installation by using the Zombie component from Kangaroo. So far I've managed to input the gravity force, springs and anchor points. However, when trying to move the anchor points - since my proposal has the anchor points not only from the ceiling but also from the walls - the structure collapses as if it was forgetting that the moved anchor points exists.

The image is of the ideal form that I'm trying to get to and attached are the grasshopper and rhino files.

If anyone could help me either figuring out how to move the anchor points or how to achieve a similar shape with a free-found form I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance :)

I think what you want to do is a 3D modelling via Kangaroo.

Use latest kangaroo2, anchor points has target point option which is very helpful in your case.

What happens with kangaroo1 zombie solver is each time you change point position it calculates definition again and thus does not find connected points.
