Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am having trouble to create an equally spaced test points from a surface composed with multiple geometry (Fig.2 ).

When I generate the test points from the genTestPts, I believe it is treating all the surfaces separately rather than collectively and that is why the spacing is not lined up (Fig.1).

However, when I combine all the polygons into one and import into grasshopper, there is a cluster of points (Fig.3 )around the tight corner which something I would like to avoid. Is there anyway to remove those points?

You can use Grasshopper's native components for cases like this.

Mostapha,

Thanks, I will look into it
