Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

What would be the best way to replicate the Stuttgart train station in grasshopper? I found this thread in the forum they provide an example with the old kangaroo:

Would it be possible to recreate it with Kangaroo 2 or is there other approach you would also recommend?

Thanks,

Thanks Daniel that is very useful.  How do you store the points in gh in particular positions without having a rhino file? Also, how can I move all points together? So far I can only move one at a time.

Thanks!

I internalised the inputs after referencing them from Rhino. You can do this by right clicking the component and choosing internalise data.

To do the reverse you can select the input points in Grasshopper, bake them into Rhino, then reference them back into Grasshopper again (making sure to choose type>point). Then you can select and move the points in Rhino, including moving them as a group.
