algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Does anyone know a way to get closest point list with many search points, but mentioned search points would not select the same point from the point cloud?

Hopefully this isn't over complicating, but you might need to loop your data in order to cull the points already "used" if they are the closest to another point. Anemone is really good tool for this (http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/anemone - definitely worth going through the example files for the previous builds!).

This should do the trick for you:

Script attached (some random point creation before what is shown above - attach your list of points to the point holders above).

With Anenome installed double click the "Loop Start" Component. You can see from the list of lines output that the length increases down the list so it looks to be doing the right thing for me (this was the first thing put together though - if you find any bugs please let me know/fix them and put it back here for others!)

Hope that helps!

Hi Joe,

Thanks for this definition! very helpful, I was wondering if there was a way to tweak it so it shows the first and second closest points, with each point having two connections. Here's the definition applied to my points, I've tried using shifted lists but it doesn't seem to be working quite the way I want it to.

Best,

Laurens
