algorithmic modeling for Rhino

In his excellent YouTube video "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZWSQJWVhbY" Zach Kron discusses "reporting parameters" that he sets up in Revit Components Modelings that are able to report back to the designers information when it is attached to a model.

For instance when the parameter is placed on the model it reports back whether a plane (a window) is in a planar orientation!

Does Rhino have a similar tool?

Short answer: no.

long answer: you can rig up a lot of this kind of behavior yourself with grasshopper. It is more of an "outside-in" approach where the GH definition listens to the components in the model and reports important information, vs. the revit component approach which is more "inside-out" where the logic resides in each component and reports back outwards to the model. If you have a more specific use case I can try to wire up an example of how to do it in Grasshopper.
