How to generate units (surface or curve profile) from these existing curves???

Hi GH geeks,

Does anyone have an idea of how to automatically generate those unites? I marked as red in the image. Using Rhino alone, it's impossible to menage those curves since they are pretty random.

I've attracted a sample file.  Those curves are not planar. Please let me know if more info is needed.

Thanks!

As it looks like curve bundling, a solution for curves in 2D will be to use heights which is a output of my last script curve bundling with kernel density. So you could use the height in order to get a surface like above :

You put a plane on that shape at a given height, and you cut it. It will generate parts which could be selected. Not easy but it seems possible. You must choose just "lakes"
