Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I found this definition online, and I hope to do some amendments. As this definition is started from building a random mesh in grasshopper, how can I amend it if I already have a mesh that is built in rhino? Thanks!!!

HI joey,

The image of the definition you've found actually does not include a mesh - only lines composing a hex grid, which gets exploded into segments than are then turned into springs for kangaroo to simulate a tensile net. You must generate a mesh in rhino (ex., regular mesh plane or any other mesh pattern) to then use all its edges as springs as well as select specific or all vertices for anchor points. You can turn any grid pattern into spring cables.

check the defnition here http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/kangaroo/forum/topics/reciprocal... and explanation here https://spacesymmetrystructure.wordpress.com/
