circle packing along sphere surface + merging difference with surf

Hello,

I'm very new to both Rhino and Grasshopper.  I'm trying to use circle packing along the surface of a sphere to create "holes" in the sphere.  I figured out the circle packing part and I'm able to bake them into a rhino file, but I'm not sure how to cut them out from the sphere.  Note: My goal is to 3d print the resulting form, which will be a hollow sphere with holes in it.

I've attached the rhino and 3dm files to this thread if that helps.  Thanks!

Hi.

Is this what you are after?

yes!  This is exactly what I was looking for.  Thanks!  Off topic question about the circles distribution- is there a way for me to distribute the circles along the surface more evenly?  Maybe Kangaroo isn't the right object for this?

It turns out to be quite challenging to subdivide a sphere in grasshopper without variation at the poles of the sphere. I have been after a more even distribution for some time. Any luck with this? Could you share?

Thank you!
