algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody,

I am trying to offset some curves. Now I think they are in the right direction but anyway they are "off-setting" in different directions and I do not know why. I tried to measer the length and filter them but this did not work as well. Anybody an idea? Thanks in advance!

Because your planes each cut your surface twice, you're now removing an overlapping curve, but the method you're using is more or less random. What you want to do is sort the cut curves by their distance from the cut plane, and then keep only those curves closest to the plane. Then, when you offset, if you feed in the plane used to do the cutting, you'll get a consistent result.

Just add curve frames as offset planes. The problem was that you offset was oriented bu xy plane.

Thank you all for your help! It works now.
