Tessellating Structural Shells

Hello, I am fairly new to grasshopper and I am working on a project for school. We are trying to figure out how to tessellate a shell structure (arbitrary form) in a way that uses the least VARIETY of panels. We will be fabricating the pieces so we need to minimize our molds. Is there a certain plugin or component that would do this? We will be using a hexagonal, octagonal, or triangular base form. It can vary is size, but I want to limit the variation. Any help would or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
