algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I was wondering if there was a way to scale a sine curve as it progresses. I would like to be able to adjust wavelength, amplitude, and, if possible, the number of waves. I roughly sketched out what I mean in rhino.

Yes.

If you plot y as a result of sin(x), with the position on the x axis changning linearly with the input to the sine function and the factor you scale the result with (amplitude) being constant, you get your ordinary sine curve. Change any of this and you get variation.

Number of waves (frequency) and wavelength are related: http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/PeriodAndFrequency/
