Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

in Rhino 5 it's now possible to create lightweight extrusions. I'm trying to get familiar with its inner workings and couldn't get them really to work the way I wanted them to work. I don't have the Service Release Candiate installed so no "Create" function there. Anyway I wouldn't help much anyways, with "nested" curves I believe.

My goal is to create extrusion objects just like the result of the Rhino Command "ExtrudeCrv" when selecting the curves on the right.

I already have the curves sored in "Levels" if that is necessary.

Can anyone give me an example on how to create it.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Grasshopper currently has no native datatype for extrusions. I've been meaning to add this secretly to the Brep parameter as extrusions are primarily a memory/computational optimization, not so much a user feature. However I haven't looked into Extrusions enough yet to wax poetically about what they can and cannot do.
