denial. if u need any info regarding to the gaps let me know. its technically stone setting (diamond) gap.. which allows to put a prong between 2 gems in order to lock the stones.

what i find interesting it the way that u made shapes boolean together smoothly as one.

hope to have some info about the script

Interesting, but I'm not sure I follow exactly what you mean about step size.
Can you recommend anywhere to read more about this?

That does look like an interesting possible application. I don't know much about jewellery design - so in the pavé examples below, would the idea be to cover the surface with circles of the same size(or a few fixed sizes) for the stones to go into? Is it just the distance between circle centres that matters, or does the distance between the beads (ie the edge lengths of the dual) need to be constant too?
