algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I've been experimenting with Galapagos for the past few weeks, and been running into some problems with the evolutionary solver. I'm wondering if anyone has the same problems. Could someone test my setup and let me know if it works fine at your end?

What happens is this:

For a few minutes, the evolutionary solver performs well. After that, an error occurs, and the solver cannot continue (see attached screenshot).

Then Rhino states this error message:

Request for generated beam has coincident node points and is ignored
The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

I've included the model I used to test Galapagos. Is is a very simple planar suspension bridge with two masts.

Help is very much appreciated!

Solved. I forgot to close the models after analysis.

Close model was set to 'false' in the solver component.

Possibly I should override this option if I can detect Galapagos is running, I'll ask David next time I chat with him.

I also on some models start to get NAN results after a few generations, I'll see if we can resolve this issue too.
