Hey Matt,

I've exported as 3DS. Then use the modifier Shell to have thickness.
This was a quick render. Probably with some studio HDRI and better configuration could achieve a much better result.

Hey,

I think I need to start using vray, the results are great. How did you export your geometry to max for shelling? Did you export as dwg?

Hello Matt,

In fact it is. I've rendered on Max with V-Ray.

Hello Dubravko,

I think that you can probably extrude ribs by definition.
I just use Shell on Max to do it for render.

Great example of usage, please can you tell me how to extrude the ribs to have desirable thickness so it would look OK when visualized, is it possible to do it through definition or you have done it manually.
