algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Everyone,

is there a proper way to assemble an EPConstruction for a rear ventilated facade?

I didn´t find an air material, while composing, except for the window air material and the airwall material, which don´t seem to be the right choice.

Best regards,

Dominik

There is one air space material in the HB material library. Of course you can also add your own.

Thanks a lot!

Mhhhh and if i wanted to simulate this kind construction in THERM; what would be the material of choice?

When I input the default air space resistance of honeybee i recieve the warning, that it has a conductivity of 0. Where it schould be something around 0.025 or 0.076921 according to this thread:

But the custom made THERM material doesnt seem to be the right one either because as far as I understand it is only useful for windows constructions while setting the cavity model?

Is there some way to set up a material for a ventilated air space as part of a rear ventilated facade?

Best regards,

Dominik

Look at hydra examples like this one and this one (look for the "frame cavity" material).

Thanks again :) I thought this would only suit for window constructions.
