Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Greetings GH Community -

I am looking for help and I have not scripted before and this is my first time seeing Giulio's "bakeAttributes" component.

I have created a definition that creates a mesh replicating the surface of water controlled by a timer and counter. In my rhino window the animation is beautiful.

My end goal is to bake each frame and render them in KeyShot with materials and lighting etc and then compose an animation of each frame in After Effects.

If I set the Boolean toggle to true to "BAKE with attributes" while the timer/counter is enabled, I get a mesh being baked into my rhino file as the counter progresses. This results in a mesh being stacked one on top of the other on the same layer until I stop the timer or revert the Boolean to false.

This is fine and I was able to render 150 frames of the animation but it was done so manually - one frame at a time, and it was time consuming.

There is a script available with KeyShot that renders the frames. It requires that each frame be a separate file. My hope with the help of the community would be to either use Giulio's component correctly or use a script to be able to bake all the meshes I need as separate files. I guess they would all have to be named sequentially too. I am not sure which approach is best.

Thank you to anyone that can help me with this.
