Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everybody,

i'm making a tower with grasshopper and i need to design the structure.

I did the offset of the rotation of the curve, divide distance to get the points, i tryed in diffrent ways to get the lines but i couldn't. I would like to make the beams and the pilars of the structure. How can i get lines between the vertical points?

Thanks for the help.

THank you very very much! That's perfect!

cant reply properly, the gherkin-ish one is nice, also learned about use of the insert items(name is self explaining, but I use it very rarely)I imagine its the better way to control the list.to this one:

hahahaha been laughing since I read it!

Not sure how to finish the challenge since I have no Idea what to do. How would a truss in this case look like?Hate to say this since its the most important thing in architecture.Maybe like this:

To this one: int next = (index + x) % nodesOut.Count; // explain this (what it does?)

after tests I made, hehehe, I am quite sure its shifting the PointList (why the modulo operation, no Idea)

probably just like this, right. First one is really stuid I think, since the cross is already on the outer structure.
