Hi Matthew,

I have the same issue, All gha and dll files are in the same folder and they are unblocked. It is not working though

Hi everyone, Great tools. I love the Galapagos listener and the write to Excel components. I used the write to Excel Component with no problems at all, until yesterday I tried it on a new computer, and it kept opening a new Excel file every time Galapagos run a new iteration, any idea how can I fix that. I used to have all iterations written to one Excel file.

I typically use the listener to collect all of the iterations, once Galapagos is done running, I then toggle the excel writer to true to send all of the data to excel instead of writing on the fly. This should solve the problem in the short term, but you should be able to write information live without it creating a new Excel file. Can you tell us what version of Grasshopper, Excel and TT Toolbox you have?

Would you please guide me on how to set-up an excel sheet that could possibly draw a simple Rhino box by grasshopper?

Hi Ashkan,

This shows a basic excel sheet where each column is the X,Y, and Z coordinate of a corner point. I then use the Excel Reader to pull in that data, pull out each X,Y and Z value individually and construct a point. Let me know if that helps!

I am using TT Toolbox 1.5 and excel 2007 and am trying to write Galapagos results however I get this error. I unblocked the Toolbox file! Help Please

Hi Ramy - Looks like we are having trouble finding your machine's Excel assemblies ... I've never seen this error before. Can you read from an open instance of Excel? Or is it a no-go for all of our excel components?
