algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all, I have recently formatted my computer so i had to go through re-installing everything again, and my Honeybee doesn't seem to find open studio, although it is installed directly in C:/, is there a way to link it to it? which directory should it be installed in?

Thanks

Hi,

Please connect Honeybee_Honeybee component to a panel, upload that messages.

Try to install OpenStudio in default path without changing that:

C:\Program Files\

best,

Omid

Hey Omid, so i did the following

Uninstall OpenStudio from C:\ (although this was the default suggested location)

Remove Ladybug and Honeybee using this http://hydrashare.github.io/hydra/viewer?owner=mostaphaRoudsari&...

Restart my pc

Reinstall OpenStudio in C:\ProgramFiles

Reinstal Ladybug and Honeybee

still same error message

Gabriella,

From your screenshots, You reinstalled EnergyPlus, not OpenStudio!

If you don't have OpenStudio download it from below link and install that:

OpenStudio

and read Installation Instructions.

Omid

woops, must have mixed up the links while installing...

Thank you both for your patience, the bee is flying :)

Best

Gabriella

Gabriella,

From your images i think you are confusing EnergyPlus with OpenStudio.

EnergyPlus should be installed under c:\ (this is the default location) and OpenStudio under Program Files.

In your image i see you installed (in the wrong location) E+ but you don't have OS.

Thank you :)
