algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

I have two simple questions for you concerning the manipulation of data in a tree thanks to paths.

The tree in question is as follows :

(The data in the branches are not important)

1) I would like to cull (or to keep) all the branches beginning with {1...}

[Red rectangles on the image]

2) I also would like to erase the useless zero in the two branches [Green rectangles]

examples : {1;0;2;0} => {1;0;2}

Thank you in advance for your explanations !

Have a good day.

Regards

Hi,

1)split tree

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/datatree-selection-rules

2)path mapper

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/path-mapper-help-1

is probably best to get the fundamentals.

p.s.: But yes, Tom, I am on your side and also would rather use simplify before to keep things nicely right away. -  Gosh, I really hate the path mapper.

Thank you for your answer.

I've succeeded in finding what I was looking for.
