algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi all,
How can I see the shell element tags? For example: I want to check de max bending moment in the benchmark example Plate_Beam_Simply_Supported if it is in middle of the span length of the shell. See pictures included.
Finally, My goal is to check de bending moments at different places of the shell element.
I hope you can help me.
Best,
Halim

Hi Halim,
in Karamba each mesh converted to a shell is given a tag - not each face of a mesh - although each face corresponds to a finite element. The term 'element tag' is therefore a bit misleading for shells.
In case you want to probe result values at specific points you could use the 'IsoLines'-result option of the 'ShellLineResults'-component. There result locations can be specified via points near meshes or lines intersecting a mesh. The ouput-plug 'Value' will yield the corresponding results.
Best,
Clemens
