Different zones of a diagrid structure with the same cross section?

Hi everyone,
I'm analyzing a diagrid structure with karamba. I initially assigned a single cross section for the whole structure. Now I would like to optimize the cross sections of the elements in such a way that I have different zones which have the same cross section. How can I do?

Hi Simona,

you can specify groups of beams which will have identical cross sections after optimization by feeding their identifier into the 'GroupIds' input-plug of the 'OptiCroSec'-component (see the manual for details). For a more elaborate selection it is also possible to use regular expressions.
