Marvelous Vicente!

My solution is way more complex and messy.

Late, but here it is.

Here's a GH file that should do the same thing (although it could be simplified a bit):

Would you share GH equation please !

HA, fixed it. Turns out my sky map was never set to UVWGenEnvironment>Spherical.

yeah, vray 2.0.

I must be missing something, everything still comes out monochrome- but all purple. My sky map is like this-

Oh sorry, i've checked just now... It's bigger...

I did remember my first try, I had your same result.

Because every picture gets "smoothed" or filtered by antialiasing,

a 6x3 pixel image will be smoothed to a flat gray...

Try enlarge that pic to like 600x300 pixels without smoothing/interpolating colors (200x300 for each, R, G, B)

Btw, I use vray... You?

would you mind posting it/your settings for me? I really like it, yet for some reason I keep getting monochrome renders instead of this great gradient style you have.

@Marcel Yes, a small 6x3 pixel pic with just the three basic colors like this:

How did you render these colors? Do you have a rainbow style bitmap for sky?
