Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Does anyone know why I can't set some geometries from rhino since GH directly 'draws' them into rhino window.

Is this a bug? Is something I can correct in my profile options?

Thank's everybody.

Do you mean boxes and lines for example?

If so this is not a bug but you can use a BRep for a box and a Curve for a line to get Rhino objects in.

TY for your interest in helping.

Danny, if you draw a point in rhino and you want to plugg it into GH, you use a 'point' pile, then you right click on it and click on 'select one point'...

Well, usually you could select the point in rhino and then it bring you back to GH, but now, when you click on 'select one point', it doesn't let you select the rhino point, instead of that you can draw a red (unselected) grasshopper's point in rhino viewport.

The same with lines and polylines...

Don't know what's happening¡¡¡

In the Rhino Command line you should be able to switch between types: Points Co-ordinates etc

I had this problem of setting a point from Rhino as well. The thing is that 1st you need to draw the point in rhino and then add a component of a point in grasshopper >right click and set one point. Dont use point component you have used previously or if you do it clear the values so you dont have problems to set the selected point .
