algorithmic modeling for Rhino

tab key as a shortcut to create node?? please..

Hi, David:

I'm from animation / film industry which primarily use node base software (Houdini, Nuke) for years. Those software all have TAB key to create node like a convention, and its very convenient to type and create, just like auto complete function in most coding interface.

Could you consider making TAB key available as a hotkey please?? So it's possible replace it with default F4 key.

You can customize keyboard shortcuts (File -> Preferences -> Interface -> Shortcuts). That might work for you. Also, did you try double-clicking the canvas with your mouse?

Tab cannot be set as a menu shortcut. It would require some additional code to hack around the default Windows key/menu handling.
