@dao - To get the hexagonal grid I'm connecting the output triangular mesh to the MeshDual component I posted here:

(When using this dual component, try changing the C input to 1 for the barycentric dual, which will give more even edge lengths in this example)

Also - the final thickened solid shown in the video above is generated by feeding the mesh into Cytoskeleton, which you can read about here:

in your video there is a hexagonal grid on the surface, how do i do that?

Hi Joaquim,

Thanks. An undo function for this sort of physics based system is actually a bit tricky, because the geometry is constantly changing many times a second, and when the user interacts, things like the speed and path of the dragging influence the result.

I suppose maybe I could store the full state of the physical system at the end of each user interaction, and then allow to jump back to these - needs more testing. Things are also complicated by the way that events in both Rhino and Grasshopper can affect the result, while they maintain separate undo stacks.

Daniel, you have no idea how impressed I stay today while exploring new Kangaroo Physics 2.0. too much powerful, a monster ! I only have one question about grab, it is possible integrate the undo option ? Thanks in advance.

@Heen - Can you be more specific about what isn't working? Does the definition open without errors? If everything else is working, but just the wire from Grab to Solver stays orange when clicking, most likely culprit is the COFF setting.

I do plan to make some more video tutorials and documentation. Right now the most complete reference is the pdf included with the download. For grabbing, you need to hold down the Left-Ctrl key and left click the particle with the mouse. This video show it with the key and mouse presses on screen: https://vimeo.com/118721449
