algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is possible move the sections on X like the image (until the edge), sorry if the question is so dummy but I can not get it.

It's a very good question! At the moment this is not possible by using the BBWaffle component. Instead you can use the BBSection component and define the section planes manually. Unfortunatly my laptop is under repair but I can post an example next week.

Greetings!

Yes please and thank you so much

Here is a little example. Give the BBSection components some planes and he will calculate the section curves and make the slots for you.

I hope this is helpful to you!

Nice, I'm going to test it right now, another request, the orient for the radial component I've not got the layout for laser cut thank you again I really appreciate it.

Well this def not works in my shape, I used mesh brep to use it Could you check it?

Oh I see. I found the bug in the BBSection component. Try out the new release and the example in the attachment.

Maybe you have to modify the definition and your geometry a bit to get optimal results but it should work now.

Greetings!

Awesome it's working I would like move the sections a little bit how can I divide the line to get a tight section I mean to move a little the end points to get a nice assembly I moved the divide points only in one direction but another end point is missed, how can divide to the line a little random to get the end points inner the line so the other sections making waffle section no cares the position.

I got it Only with a Extend Curve and negative x on the starts :D but is possible orient the sections or I'll get it directly in rhino? Sorry I'm still a noob.

Project the section curves to the xy plane?

You can use the section planes to create a transformation and apply this transformation to the curves. Use the boundingbox of the mesh to adjust the space between the sections. Take a look at the BBWaffle example. It does exactly the same.

The BBSection component is very in-progress so it maybe needs some workaround…

I tried but I can't do it maybe for some plane I don't know :/ help the last time for today.
