Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello

I have completed a solar analysis using GECO components to colour mesh panels according to solar insolation.

I have a definition here, part of which will scale the mesh panels by a factor - part of which produces the mesh panel colours.

I would like to output the mesh panel colours to create a scale factor, does anyone know how to convert the mesh colours into a numerical range say 0 to 1.

Thanks in advance.

Like the attached image, just remember that the data for bounds has to be flatten'ed. And in using this technique you will maintain your data structure

Thanks for your reply.

I'm still not sure how to turn the mesh panel colours into a number, any number, from this.

Hi anyone

Solved - I stupidly did not see that there is a way to output the actual energy values from Ecotect. The data just had to be organised in the same way as my list of geometry for manipulation.
