Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Anyone, this is driving me absolutely crazy.

I have a set of curves however I want to just divide the ones that are longer than a certain value and not divide the others. I did the list stuff to determine which curve geometry meets my criteria, however the tree or list or cull or whatever does not out put geometry!!!

The divide tool needs Geometry to work!!!

Is there anyway to get geometry output from a list?  or Something??

This is basic stuff Marsha, have you read the Grasshopper primer?

Thank you for your response,

But this does not have a list of value in it. I tried to explain it simple first. that was my error I guess.

I am using an Antfarm plugin that lets me import attributes from QGis (.shp file). I want to divide only the curves that have an attribute value in a particular list (the value is greater than a set number).

I created the list already. But I can not get geometry out put from it. so i have nothing to enter into the divide panel.

Ah, okay, I'm sorry Marsha. I think you'd best attach your definition so people can see what is going wrong. I'm off for the weekend, plus I don't have that plugin, so I hope someone else can help you with that.

After the cull - i have the values i want, but no geometry.

The "Geometry" is a curve. I assume Get Dataset(DS) is not nor is Get Attributes(V) these are what you are generating the Cull Pattern from. You then need to apply that pattern to the Geometry in the Curve Parameter at the beginning of your definition. You may need to Flatten the Cull Pattern in order to get it to work.
