Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

HI,

I was trying to create loop through a set of 3 sliders to create possible alternatives, something like (animate) but to all 3 sliders,

I know Gallapagos can do it but it takes too much time for the solver to create the possible solutions... I am imaginig it like a loop to (animate) slider 1 then 2 then 3 ???

Thanks in advance for any help!

TT Toolbox has a brute force component which will loop through all possible slider combinations. Of course this is actually more expensive than using Galapagos, but it will give all possible solutions :)

Thanks Anders! TT toolbox works perfectly... one more question... when I try to use a data recorder on the TT outputs I have to turn the TTbox boolean toggle on then off to actually see the recorded data, otherwise it remains blank (if set to on)... any thoughts how to fix that or this is the way it works??

Thanks again!

Hi Anders,

I am trying to use Brute Force with Honey Bee to run a series of building simulations. The free parameters of the building are modeled with a slider to be able to plug it into the Brute force component, but when i try to run it it gives me an error that i am not able to visualize, the component turns red when the button to run brute force is pressed but it the warning will disappear whenever i stop pressing the button (screen shot).

Also is it possible to use it with more than one output (fitness)?

Thanks,

Blanca
